What this is, in plain language.
Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and DAXXIFY are FDA-approved neuromodulators. Each one temporarily softens the signal between specific facial muscles and the skin above them — which softens dynamic wrinkles (the ones that show when you express). The four products are similar but not identical. Onset, duration, and spread differ. I'll match the product to the muscle group, your prior history, and what you're trying to achieve.

What to expect
Consult first. Twenty minutes. We talk about what bothers you, what you've had done before, and what you do not want to look like afterward.
GFE. Telemedicine Good Faith Exam with a licensed NP if you're new this year.
Photos. Standardized.
Treatment. Eight to ten minutes. Pinpricks rather than injections. Topical numbing if you want it.
Aftercare. No lying flat for four hours. No heavy exercise for 24 hours. Avoid touching/massaging the treated area for 24 hours. Full instructions written down.
Onset. First movement softening at 3 to 4 days. Final result at 10 to 14 days.
Duration. Typically 12 weeks (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin); often longer with DAXXIFY.

Will it make me look frozen?
No. I dose for movement preservation. If your forehead can still lift, you'll still look like you when you laugh.
How long does it last?
Most products: 10 to 14 weeks. DAXXIFY: often 16 to 24 weeks.
Does it hurt?
A handful of pinpricks. Most clients rate it a 2 out of 10.
What happens if I stop?
Your muscles return to baseline within 3 to 4 months. There's no rebound, no permanent change, no withdrawal.
